If Psychics/Tarrots and Astrology are related to demons, why do they advise us to meditate and have faith?
Okay so, lets assume psychic readers get hints from demons… tarrot cards are evil
Then why do psychics tell you to keep calm, have faith, take baby steps and then they advise you to meditate?
I mean if psychics contact demons, the demons should give readings like “You boyfriend is going to dump you, break up”
“You will get better job, resign”
“He is not your soulmate, dont get married”
These psychics and astrologers would even tell you about sea salt remedy, meditate and keep feng shui charm
One psychic even told me I have lots of negative energy, I need to burn sage leaves and pray more, keep rosary and meditate
How can demons lead us closer to God?

Satan is a metaphor for your mind. It is not a mythological being. There is only one God who control this entire universe.

The “faith” they refer to is not Christian faith in God. It is belief or trust in whatever they are touting. Like “have faith” (trust) in the tarot cards, the president, the school system, or whatever. Christian faith is described like this: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1 It is trust in God, that He will fulfill the promises He gives in the Bible. There are plenty of them to give us hope for our future, trusting that God knows what is best for us.
The meditation advocated by psychics and New Agers is described in the Bible (new testament): “43 When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” — Matthew 12:43-45.
The meditation used by New Agers and psychics is to empty your mind of all thought, and inviting some spirit to come in and talk to you, channel itself through you. That drops your guard, and you have no protection from demon possession. Once you start doing that, it is very hard to keep the demons out.
Christian meditation is to select a passage from the Bible and think on it. Compare it to other like passages on the same subject. Consider what it says about how you behave now, and what changes you might need to make to be a kinder, more merciful, more patient, more helpful, less self-centered, less competitive person. How can you be more like Jesus?
