Origin of astrology is Veda. Origin of Astrnomy is also Veda and Samhita. The planets in astronomy and astrolgy are different. It could only be understood by those who have realized self and understood the Vedanta knowledge. For other your question would remain always as a question.

Astrology and astronomy are both based on studying the heavens. Astronomy, in its humble beginning, was derived from astrology. But they could not be more different.
Astrology is a humbug religion masquerading as a great subject of study. In fact, it is 100% subjective. Astrologers may use the same terms, but their predictions are no better than guesswork. And the predictions of 2 different astrologers rarely match, even when given the same data to start with.
Astronomy is the science of measuring radiation coming to Earth from all over the sky, and deriving the principles that govern the universe. It is based on solid, observable fact. Theories (such as the nature of black holes) come and go. Weak theories die, strong theories are modified and then fit into the body of knowledge.
Religion and science are not 2 sides of the same coin. One is based on faith and belief. The other is based on what can be measured and proved.
