What is your hypothesis why people want to believe in pseudo science of astrology and numerology?

Understand I said Astrology not Astronomy which is the study of stars and space. Too many people don’t know the difference.

They believe in that for the same reason that people believe in gods. Because it helps them cope with reality. That and they are gullible.

Most likely, due to the Forer effect(aka the Barnum effect), although some believe that they are misunderstood sciences that could become legit, with work, study, and the application of the scientific method (much like alchemy evolved into chemistry)

It’s fun to test out numerology, and count….However, most Filipinos are Catholic, Jewish, and also Muslim so no we do not believe in numerology.

I don’t believe that numbers has something to do with our personality, compatibility, more so on our past, present and future. Numbers were invented for the purpose of counting objects and measuring distance, any interpretation associated with a persons life is just totally bias and useless.

But I do believe, that numbers has something to do with relationships, it is proven to be true…. especially if a man has his Number 2
